Trump denied access to classified information to Harris, Clinton and the Bidens

The administration of US President Donald Trump has decided to deprive Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton and members of Joe Biden’s family of access to classified information and the opportunity to work with her.

“The Presidential Administration has concluded that access to classified information is no longer in the national interests of the following individuals: Anthony Blinken, Jacob Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zayed, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissman, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Cheney, Kamala Harris, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, Alexander Vindman, Joseph R. Biden Jr., and any other member of the Joseph R. Biden Jr. family,” the White House said in a release.

All heads of executive departments and agencies are ordered to restrict the access of these persons to protected facilities of the US government without escort. This restriction also applies to participation in classified briefings, such as the President’s Daily Briefing, as well as access to State secret information held by the intelligence community.

In early March, the head of US national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, announced that, by Trump’s decree, she had revoked the security clearance of former US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and former national Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.

This week, Trump withdrew state protection from Joe Biden’s children.
