Three hostages were handed over by Hamas to the Israeli military in the Gaza Strip

Three more released Israeli hostages have been handed over to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the Gaza Strip as part of a deal with the Palestinian Hamas movement, and the military is escorting them to Israel, the IDF press service reports.

“The three released hostages have just been handed over to the Israel Defense Forces and the General Security Service (SHABAK) in the Gaza Strip. Currently, the IDF and SHABAK special forces are escorting the released hostages on their way to Israel, where they will undergo an initial medical examination,” the statement said.

On Saturday, the Palestinian movement released two Israeli hostages as part of a truce agreement in the Palestinian enclave. Another Israeli hostage is expected to be released later on Saturday.

In accordance with the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, six Israeli hostages are being released on Saturday, who will be the last living hostages on the release list at the first stage of the agreement.

In exchange for these six hostages, Israel will release over 600 Palestinian prisoners from prisons, including dozens with life sentences for terrorism.
