The draft budget of the United States provides for the allocation of almost $ 7 billion for the operations of the European command, intelligence assistance, the document says.

 

“European Command Operations and Associated Activities – $6.98 billion in mission support, intelligence support, pay, equipment and related activities,” according to a document posted on the US House Committee on Appropriations website.

 

 

In general, the draft US budget for 2023 provides for the allocation of about $ 798 billion for defense spending, follows from the text of the published document.

Thus, the volume of US defense spending will increase by $69 billion compared to 2022, that is, by almost 10%.
