The US Libertarian Party (not one of the two dominant ones) intends to take custody of the country’s President Joe Biden and the “fading” Republican leader in the Senate Mitch McConnell, the reason for this is the gaffes, memory lapses and incoherent statements of politicians.

“We intend to file for guardianship of Biden and McConnell,” the party said on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

The party notes that the “mental acuity and general health” of the country’s leaders are not issues that should be approached lightly, this is already a “national security” issue. It adds that memory lapses, “freezes” (we are talking about 81-year-old McConnell, known for his “freezes”) and “incoherent statements” by politicians are not quirks, but “warning signs.” The party writes that Biden’s moments of confusion are “disturbing.” The president’s airy handshakes and forgetfulness of names raise “legitimate questions about his mental fitness” to hold the highest office in the land.

Similar to Biden, McConnell has a reputation for “contradictory statements” and lack of focus, according to libertarians. “If he morally fails to cope with his responsibilities, it is not his problem – it is America’s problem,” the party writes.

However, the party says that guardianship is a “last resort”, but the current situation requires it.
“We are seeking legal counsel on these issues in Washington, D.C., to begin the process as quickly as possible,” the party said in a statement, inviting other “victims” to join them.
