The United States, Japan and South Korea are ready to impose coordinated sanctions against Russia and reduce dependence on its energy resources while continuing to support Ukraine, the leaders of the three countries said in a statement.

“We commit to continue to support Ukraine by imposing coordinated and sensitive sanctions against Russia and accelerating the reduction of dependence on Russian energy carriers,” the document says.
