The US aircraft carrier was spotted in the Mediterranean Sea on its way to the Middle East.

The US aircraft carrier Dwight Eisenhower was spotted by ship observers and intelligence analysts in the Mediterranean Sea after passing through the Strait of Gibraltar on its way to the Middle East, Stars and Stripes reported, citing eyewitnesses and analysts.

Earlier, the American aircraft carrier Gerald Ford with a strike group arrived in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

“The entry of the Eisenhower into the Mediterranean was documented by ship observers and open source intelligence analysts on the social network X,” the publication writes and cites a number of photographs of the Eisenhower published on the social network.

It is noted that the US Navy did not respond to the publication’s message asking to confirm the arrival of the aircraft carrier.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that he would continue to make efforts to ensure that Israel has everything it needs “to defend itself.” The Bataan amphibious assault force of more than 4,000 sailors and Marines will join the growing US fleet off the coast of Israel, the Washington Post reported.
