The Syrian army is moving additional forces to the north of Hama province in preparation for a counter-offensive against the positions of terrorist groups, the Syrian state agency SANA reports.

“Syrian troops are strengthening their defense lines and moving reinforcements to the front lines in the north of Hama province in preparation for a counter-offensive against the positions of terrorist groups in those areas,” the agency said.

According to the agency, fierce fighting between the Syrian military and terrorists is taking place in the north and west of the Khitab settlement in the north-west of Hama province.
