US President Donald Trump claims that the process of extracting enriched uranium from the ground in Iran will be long and difficult after the military operation in June 2025.

“Operation Midnight Hammer (strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in June 2025) was the complete and total destruction of nuclear dust facilities in Iran. Therefore, their excavation will be a long and difficult process,” Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.

On Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bagai said that the Islamic Republic has no plans to export enriched uranium either to the United States or to any other country.

On February 28, the United States and Israel began attacking targets in Iran, and more than three thousand people became victims of aggression. On April 8, Washington and Tehran announced a two-week cease-fire. The negotiations that took place in Islamabad after that ended in vain.
