Vance will lead the U.S. delegation to the talks with Iran

ABC journalist Jonathan Karl, citing US Permanent Representative to the UN Michael Waltz, claims that American Vice President Jay Dee Vance will lead the US delegation to the talks with Iran in Islamabad.

“Waltz told me that J.D. Vance will lead the American delegation going to Islamabad for talks with Iran,” Karl wrote on his page on the social network X.

Earlier, the head of the White House noted in an interview with ABC correspondent Jonathan Karl that he hoped for a deal with Iran, while accusing the Islamic Republic of “violating the truce.”

The American delegation went to Islamabad to establish contacts with Iran, US President Donald Trump said.

“My representatives are heading to Islamabad in Pakistan. They will be there tomorrow evening for negotiations,” he wrote on the Truth Social network.
