The command of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran spoke about the “new order” of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier on Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced in connection with the truce in Lebanon that the passage of all commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is fully open for the duration of the ceasefire.

“The new order in the Strait of Hormuz provides for: 1. Civilian vessels may only travel along a certain route. 2. The movement of military vessels through the Strait is still prohibited. Movement is possible only with the permission of the IRGC Navy,” the command wrote on its Facebook page.

It also noted that shipping will begin with the implementation of the ceasefire in Lebanon.
