The head of Fresenius Sturm is against the fact that the Russians were deprived of medical care. That is why, Stefan said that the German medical company will not leave Russia.

The German medical company Fresenius will not leave Russia, its head Stefan Sturm said in an interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

“We can’t put one life above another,” said Stefan SturmThis is not the first time Sturm has warned of the consequences of the Russian gas embargo on Germany.

“The idea that in this situation it will be enough just to put on another sweater is a gross oversimplification and understatement of the problem,” Sturm says.

The head of Fresenius believes that politicians do not fully understand the gravity of the situation. “The essence of sanctions is to inflict more harm on the one they are imposed on than on oneself. In the case of a gas embargo, this will not work,” Shturm concluded.
