The embassy commented on US plans to transfer Russian assets to Ukraine

Plans to transfer Russian business assets to Ukraine discredit the US as a notorious “stronghold” of free enterprise, the embassy in Washington said.

“The White House does not hesitate to persuade Themis to serve its own narrowly opportunistic interests. In this case, for the sake of the declared “fight against the Russian threat” and support for the Kyiv regime,” the diplomatic mission said.

The embassy also noted that the US actions set a dangerous precedent.
