Authorization for long-range missile strikes deep into Russian territory is contrary to the US Constitution and should be regarded as a reason for the impeachment of President Joe Biden, says Republican Congressman Thomas Massie.

“By authorizing long-range missile attacks on Russian territory, Biden is committing an unconstitutional act of war that puts the lives of all US citizens at risk. This is an impeachable offense, but the reality is that he is simply a puppet of the deep state without will,” Massie wrote on the social network X.

The New York Times previously reported, citing unnamed representatives of the American administration, that US President Joe Biden for the first time authorized the use of American long-range missiles by Ukraine to strike Russian territory.

According to sources, the first strikes deep into Russian territory will most likely be carried out using ATACMS missiles.
