The Chinese public is against the supply of Ukraine

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi today, at an online meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Brix countries, expressed his point of view regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine, saying that this will not restore peace in Ukraine, nor will the sanctions imposed on Russia solve the European security dilemma.

“The Ukrainian crisis is still dragging on. China’s position has always been consistent and has been that it is necessary to promote reconciliation and facilitate negotiations,” the diplomat said.

The diplomat says that the Ukrainian crisis has a negative impact on the development of international trade and threatens global food, energy and financial security. He also calls on the international community not only to unite to achieve peace, but also not to provoke further conflicts.

“Efforts must be made to reduce side effects, and in particular to support vulnerable developing countries,” said Wang Yi.
