British resident Tanya Fox provided two Ukrainians with accommodation in her house and counted the days until they were evicted.

Two refugees were a mother and daughter from Ukraine. During the stay, Tanya helped arrange the child for school, help with the registration of benefits. Alena, in her turn, got a job, acquired new purchases and regularly dined in restaurants or asked Tanya to cook. In turn, there was no payment, no help with household chores from the side of the refugees.

“The doors of my house closed behind them for the last time. I can breathe a sigh of relief. I feel emotionally burnt out, naive and stupid. I even think that I am a loser,” said Fox.
