
Steve Wozniak, co-founder of the technology giant Apple, was hospitalized in Mexico City after suffering an ischemic stroke, where he planned to speak at a business forum, El Sol De Mexico reported.

“Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, was hospitalized this Wednesday in Mexico City after suffering an ischemic cerebral stroke,” the publication reports on its website.

The businessman arrived in the Mexican capital to participate in the World Business Forum; his speech was scheduled for Wednesday at 16.00, but the organizers announced that it was canceled “for medical reasons.”

Wozniak is 73 years old.

Steve Jobs (1955-2011) founded the world-famous American corporation Apple in 1976 along with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. The company’s headquarters are located in Cupertino, California.

Apple produces personal and tablet computers, audio players, phones, smart watches and software. Jobs died on October 5, 2011.
