Schools in Transnistria were moved remotely on Monday due to bad weather.

All schools in the unrecognized Transnistria were transferred to remote learning due to bad weather on Monday, the press service of the PMR government reported.

“On instructions from the head of government, the Ministry of Education, due to bad weather, announced the transfer of schools to remote operation,” the press service reported on the Telegram channel.

At the same time, kindergartens will operate as normal.

On November 26, Transnistria was covered by a southern cyclone, which brought with it sleet, ice and wind gusts of up to 20 meters per second. The wind knocked down trees and tore down electrical wires. Electricity was lost in some settlements. All trolleybuses have been returned to the parks.

A number of intercity bus services had to be cancelled.
