Russia, Turkey and Iran have agreed to hold their 21st meeting on Syria in the second half of 2023, the three countries said in a statement following talks in Astana.

Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan proposed to make the last 20th “Astana” meeting the final one for Astana.

“Agreed to hold the 21st international meeting on Syria in the second half of 2023,” the statement said.


In addition, Russia, Turkey and Iran noted the agreement enshrined in the final statement of the trilateral summit on July 19, 2022 to organize a summit meeting in Russia.
