In the United States, a new version of the start of large-scale fires in California has been named.

“A downed wire was discovered on a pole associated with the Eagle Rock Sylmar 220 kV line,” the release states.

The company added that it could not say for sure whether the cable damage occurred before or after the start of the fires in Southern California.
