Prince Harry rushing back to UK for funeral, without Meghan

Prince Harry is going to attend the funeral of his grandfather next week. The Duke of Sussex will come to the UK without his wife.

The fact that Duchess of Sussex will not attend the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral on the advice of her doctors is good for Harry. He will have the rarest opportunity to talk with his family and to reconcile at last. Harry is hoping to arrive back in the UK as early as Sunday. He was informed of the death of his grandfather, anxious to be alongside his family as they mourn their patriarch, though he must obey COVID-19 travel rules which means he will have to self-isolate on arrival.

The recent rifts that had caused a dent in family relations, and if Prince Philip had perhaps one last wish, it may well have been that the family use their coming together for his final send-off as a chance for reconciliation.
