NATO is not expanding into the Indo-Pacific region, the White House said.

NATO is not expanding into the Indo-Pacific region and is not moving military infrastructure there, Michael Carpenter, director of European affairs at the US National Security Council said.

“NATO is not expanding into the Indo-Pacific region, there is no accession process, all NATO defense and deterrent capabilities are in the Euro-Atlantic zone on the territory of NATO allies,” he said at a briefing for journalists.
