American entrepreneur Elon Musk said on social network X that he would attend a campaign speech by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Butler, where the ex-president was assassinated in July.

Trump’s campaign previously said he would speak at a rally on Oct. 5 in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was shot in the ear in July.

“I’ll be there to provide support,” Musk responded to Trump’s post about him returning to Butler.

The first attempt on Trump’s life occurred on July 13, when a criminal hiding on the roof of a building a hundred meters from the scene opened fire with an assault rifle. Trump was shot in the ear, one person was killed and two others were injured.

The second assassination attempt on Trump occurred on September 15 at his golf club in Florida. According to law enforcement, Secret Service officers opened fire on the intruder, who was hiding in the bushes. The man ran away and tried to escape in a car, but was detained. At the place where he was spotted, an AK-47 assault rifle with an optical sight, two backpacks and a GoPro action camera were found.
