Melania Trump hosts Queen Letizia of Spain for tea in the White House

Melania Trump hosts Queen Letizia of Spain for tea in the White House

Melania Trump and Queen Letizia of Spain spent a wonderful time while having tea in the White House. President and King Felipe’s glamorous wives had both gone out of their way to show off age-defying figures, Daily Mirror reported.

Spanish King and Queen visited the White House on Tuesday. The first lady and Queen are almost the same age women who are lucky to have perfect figures. It was even hard to tell who had the tiniest waist as they both wore skinny belts highlighting their slim middles. However, Letizia had a trick up her sleeve inspired by the FLOUS herself.

Melania wore Letizia’s exact dress in blue last year to welcome the Panamanian President, Juan Carlos Varela and his wife, Lorena Castillo Garcia de Varela.

President Donald Trump and the first lady greeted the royal couple with handshakes. The two couples all posed for photos. For King Felipe, who is perfectly speaking in English and who graduated from Georgetown University, it was nice to visit the United States. The royal noted that he and his wife had visited Texas and Louisiana before their Washington D.C.

“This is a great end to a perfect trip. We appreciate very much our common history, our heritage,”

said the king when Donald Trump went inside first followed by their wives into the Oval Office. The US leader said it’s a great honour to welcome the royals in the heart of the USA.

‘It’s a beautiful country. We were in Spain not so long ago and we love it. Our relationship has been outstanding over the years,”

added American leader during his welcoming speech.

Donald Trump, King Felipe VI discussed the aspects of the cooperation between their countries

President Trump and King Felipe firstly met in 2014, then-businessman congratulated royal with the coronation. In September 2015, they met again. While the king and the president had a 30-minute bilateral meeting, Melania Trump hosted Queen Letizia for tea in the red room, according to FLOTUS’s communications director Stephanie Grisham.

This is King Felipe VI’s first meeting with President Trump, but it’s his sixth visit to the White House. Spain and the US are keeping the good relations over the decades.
