London attack made impossible for Queen Elizabeth her planned visit to New Scotland Yard. The royal press service said that Her Majesty’s visit was delayed due to an insecure situation after London terroristic attack in Westminster on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Queen Elizabeth should attend an opening the Metropolitan Police’s new headquarters in Scotland Yard but the terror attack outside the U.K. Parliament on Wednesday made this engagement impossible fo now. The royal’s visit has been postponed, said the Buckingham Palace.
Royal reporter Richard Palmer tweeted,
“Buckingham Palace: ‘In light of today’s events the decision has been taken to postpone the Queen’s engagement to New Scotland Yard. tomorrow. The visit will be rearranged for a later date.'”
According to the British media, Wednesday attack took lives of four people, 20 got injuries after a car and knife attack outside the U.K. Parliament Wednesday afternoon. The Scotland Yard police qualified this attack as a “terrorist incident.”
Theresa May called this attack as “sick and depraved”, the prime minister thanked brave policemen for their courage and quick reaction.
“We will all move forward together, never giving in to terror and never allowing the voices of hate and evil to drive us apart,”
