Kim Jong-un’s sister ridiculed the parade in Seoul.

Kim Jong-un’s sister ridiculed the parade in Seoul.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s sister Kim Yo Jong ridiculed the South Korean military parade on the occasion of Armed Forces Day, calling it a meaningless clownery, KCNA news agency reported.

“If I say a few words about the current games, it was just a senseless clownery, as if a pack of wild dogs ran across a stream of water without leaving any traces,” the agency quotes a statement from the sister of the DPRK leader.
Kim Yo Jong, who is the deputy head of the propaganda and agitation department of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, called the assessments of the Hyunmu-5 ballistic missile demonstrated at the parade, which the South Korean media dubbed a “monster missile“, absurd.
According to her, the new South Korean missile is far from “the class of tactical nuclear weapons”, and it has only “unjustifiably gained weight.”
According to Kim Yo Jong, Seoul, “behaving pettyly in the presence of a nuclear state,” once again demonstrated “the fatal inability of non-nuclear states to overcome the threshold of inferiority in terms of strength.”  She called the nine-axle chassis that housed the Hyunmoo 5 an “ugly little car” that can’t be compared to North Korea’s MLRS, one salvo of which “corresponds to an explosive force of 900 tons in terms of the amount of explosive in conventional warheads.”.  She also ridiculed the creation of a strategic command by South Korea, which “does not have a single strategic weapon,” and called the flyover during the parade of American strategic bombers “unprecedented in the history of world parades, an unforgettable spectacle that wants to be shared and that can only be staged in colonial South  Korea, where the Supreme Commander of the South Korean Armed Forces and all his henchmen, puppet ground, naval and air forces line up and show their respect.”
“South Korea, consistently tamed by the United States to be wretched mercenaries and descended to the level of cannon fodder used by their master to realize his hegemonic ambitions, is now fearlessly rushing into the abyss of destruction along with the United States, which is declining day by day. The people of the world will still give a clear assessment of this  Are the festivities on the occasion of the “Day of the Armed Forces” of the Republic of Korea “pride in one’s own strength” or a funeral procession for the mercenary colonial army, “the answer is obvious,” Kim Yo Jong sums up.
The military parade held in South Korea on Tuesday was the first in 40 years to be held for the second year in a row and not on a regular date.  Last year, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the armed forces, South Korea already demonstrated to the public a number of latest developments, such as the L-SAM anti-aircraft missile system, capable of hitting targets at an altitude of over 40 and a distance of 150-300 kilometers, as well as a ballistic missile  “Hyunmu-4” with an estimated range of 500-800 kilometers and a warhead weight of 1-2 tons.
This year, the South Korean military introduced the fifth version of the Hyunmu missile, which, according to local media, carries a warhead weighing 8 tons and is capable of destroying even the most powerful underground bunkers of the North Korean leadership.  During the parade, two missile systems rode across the parade ground on nine-axle chassis, each carrying a container about 20 meters long.  Presumably, they contained a new “monster rocket”.
Also during the parade, an American B-1B heavy bomber flew over the air base along with two F-15K fighters.  Special Forces soldiers demonstrated their skills by disembarking from transport aircraft over the air base, while Apache attack helicopters fired flares and demonstrated evasive maneuvers.  The military showed the South Korean KF-21 advanced fighter jet under development and the American F-35A, as well as a number of drones, four-legged robots, an unmanned submarine and surface transport.  In total, about 5,000 military personnel and more than 340 pieces of military equipment took part in the ceremony.
In his speech on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the creation of the armed forces, President Yoon Seok-yeol noted that if during the Korean War of 1950-1953 Seoul did not have its own weapons, now South Korea is creating advanced combat aircraft and developing military reconnaissance satellites  and precision missiles, builds “some of the best warships and submarines in the world.”  He said South Korea’s military now combines “powerful” military strength and advanced technology, and the defense industry has become a strategic industry for the country, supporting “both security and the economy.”
Yun Sok Yeol also threatened the DPRK with the “end of the regime” if Pyongyang uses nuclear weapons.  He called on the North Korean leadership to get rid of the illusion that nuclear weapons can protect them, recalling that the military alliance of South Korea with the United States is now “based on nuclear weapons,” and the Strategic Command has begun work in South Korea, which will protect the country from nuclear and other weapons  mass destruction.
In turn, the South Korean Ministry of Defense, commenting on the reasons for holding the military parade for the second year in a row, said that it was necessary to demonstrate the “overwhelming” capabilities to powerfully repel provocations of a potential enemy.
