Angela Merkel speaks English fluently, while Kate Middleton doesn’t speak German at all. The Duchess asked Mrs Merkel to apology her non-speaking German on the start of a meeting. Agenda of this meeting of three persons (two British royals and German Chancellor) included topics such as European and global politics as well as community service projects over lunch at the chancellery.
