Israel sent reservists to the border with Lebanon.

Israel has sent reservist units to the northern regions of the country, The Times of Israel reported, citing the army.

“The Israel Defense Forces said it has deployed reservists to towns along the Lebanese border amid a general troop reinforcement in northern Israel,” the newspaper writes.

According to the publication, these units should patrol the area, organize ambushes, and set up roadblocks to ensure the safety of residents.

The Israeli authorities do not rule out a worsening of the situation in the north. Thus, the media reported that hospital patients began to be transferred to the central regions of the country.

In turn, CNN, citing a Western diplomat, reported that the United States and its allies warned the Lebanese movement against interfering in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The West maintains contacts with Hezbollah through many channels, including the Lebanese government and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri. In addition to the United States, representatives of France also contacted Hezbollah at Israel’s request.
