Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg was detained by police during a protest in London, the environmental movement Fossil Free London said.

“Greta Thunberg has just been detained,” the environmental movement wrote on the social network X.

The photo attached to the message shows two police officers holding Thunberg’s hands, and the activist is wearing a badge that reads “down with oil money.”

The protest took place at the InterContinental London Park Lane hotel, where the three-day Energy Intelligence Forum, bringing together representatives of major oil and gas companies, began on Tuesday.
