Gazprom notifies Eni of cuts in gas supplies

An Eni spokesman said that Gazprom had notified the Italian company Eni of a 15 percent reduction in gas supplies.

“Supplies are reduced by approximately 15% as of Wednesday afternoon,” the message said.

At the same time, Gazprom did not notify the partner of the reasons for such a decision.

“The government intends to achieve this goal by the second half of 2024. In turn, the head of Eni, Claudio Descalzi, believes that this will be done in 2025,” says Prime Minister Mario Draghi
