Foreign Ministry dissatisfied with the idea of the US Congress to confiscate Russian assets

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Russia would respond to the initiative of the US Congress to confiscate the assets of the Russian Federation, that all measures, including “idiotic” ones, would be responded to.

Zakharova says that Britain and the US “have already become unfriendly, with a whole range of consequences.” The representative of the Foreign Ministry commented on the draft law of the US Congress, which proposes not only to confiscate, but also to transfer the property of the Russian Federation to the Ukrainian side. Zakharova was also asked to respond to proposals to consider recognizing the Russian Federation as a “sponsor of terrorism.”

“And all the measures that they will take, even of such an idiotic nature, they will be developed and continued, we, of course, as you know, do not leave anything unanswered, and they must understand this,” Zakharova said.
