The San Bernardino County fire, known as the Line Fire, started Thursday in the town of Highland, east of Los Angeles, the newspaper reported, citing local authorities. According to the local fire service, the newspaper writes, as of Sunday morning the fire had not been contained and threatened more than 8 thousand buildings. According to the newspaper, the ongoing heat increases the risk of new fires.
