Environmental activists left part of Berlin without electricity.

Environmental activists left part of Berlin without electricity.

The Tesla plant, the city of Eckner and two areas of Berlin were left without electricity on Tuesday due to the arson of a substation set by environmental activists.

Peaceful protest turns into outright violence. Eco-criminals on Tuesday morning paralyzed the Tesla car plant in Grünheide with arson for 12,500 employees. The entire plant, the city of Eckner and parts of Berlin were left without electricity.

The fire occurred at a substation in Steinfurt at approximately 4.50 local time. The arson scene is currently being examined by explosives experts, so it may still be several hours before electricity is restored.

At the same time, the areas of Wilhelmshagen and Ransdorf were left without electricity in the German capital.

A company representative said that production at the Tesla automobile plant near Berlin was stopped due to a power outage and the plant was evacuated.

Last week, about 100 environmental activists settled in the forest adjacent to the Tesla plant, protesting against the company’s activities.
