Danish instructors began military training of 200 Ukrainians.

Danish instructors have begun providing basic military training to 200 Ukrainians in the UK, the Danish Armed Forces reported in a press release.

“Danish instructors in the UK received about 200 Ukrainians ready to undergo basic military training,” the statement says.

According to the press release, Ukrainian recruits aged 19 to 45 are participating in the training, which will take five weeks.

Earlier, the commander of the Danish Air Force, Jan Dam, stated that the first 50 Ukrainians completed training in Denmark as F-16 fighter maintenance specialists, and training of another 50 people is planned.


It also became known earlier that Denmark will complete the training program for Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighters at the end of this year in order to begin mastering the new F-35 aircraft.
