Congresswoman called US support for crimes against Palestinians a disgrace.

The Palestinian population in Gaza is experiencing “collective punishment” from the conflict in Israel, a war crime backed by the U.S. government, Democratic Rep. Cori Bush said on Monday.

“The collective punishment of Palestinians in Gaza is a war crime… It is happening with the support and power of the United States government, which is disgraceful,” Cori Bush said.


Earlier on Monday, Bush, with the support of a group of American lawmakers, introduced a resolution in the US Congress calling on the administration of US President Joe Biden to demand an immediate de-escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and a ceasefire in “Israeli-occupied Palestine.
