Borrell told what the EU will have to do because of the termination of the grain deal.

After the stop of the grain initiative, the EU countries should more actively export food from Ukraine through their territory,  the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell said, before the start of the meeting of European foreign ministers in Brussels

Earlier, a representative of the European Commission said that against the backdrop of the termination of the grain deal, the EC is actively working with neighboring countries of the union with Ukraine to increase the capacity of the so-called “solidarity routes” through which Ukraine’s grain was exported by land.

“In addition to the sea, we have solidarity routes that allow us to export large volumes of grain … Since the sea route is closed, we will have to increase the possibilities for the export of Ukrainian grain through our ports. This means that Ukraine’s neighbors must make great efforts. They must more open borders and facilitate transportation… We have already done a lot, but we must do even more,” the head of European diplomacy said.
