Borrell told what the EU will do with funding for the Georgian authorities.

The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that he would propose to the EU foreign ministers at a meeting on Monday to redirect 100 million euros of aid intended for the Georgian authorities to support “civil society.”

“Georgia will be discussed at the meeting today… Specific decisions will be made. I proposed to stop most of the funding for programs for the Georgian government – more than 100 million euros. This money will be frozen and redirected to the civil society of Georgia,” he said.
