An American intelligence officer learned about US plans to start a war.

The United States is preparing to declare war on the Houthis, former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on his social network page X.

“This morning I learned that my country, the United States of America, is preparing to wage war against Yemen. A superpower that spends nearly a trillion dollars a year on its military is preparing to fight an impoverished country where 70 percent of the population is in dire need of humanitarian aid. help,” he wrote.

Ritter added that such a decision does not characterize the United States in the best way, and expressed concern that it will not lead to anything good.
