A jury found Biden’s son guilty on gun charges.

A jury found Biden’s son guilty on gun charges.

The jury found the son of US President Hunter Biden guilty on all three counts of weapons violations.

Earlier on Tuesday, a representative of the court where the son of the American president is being tried said that the jury had reached a verdict in his case.

CNN later reported: “A jury found Hunter Biden guilty on all three federal firearms charges against him.

The prosecutor in the case against the US president’s son told jurors on Monday that he was able to prove his guilt during the trial and the evidence was “personal, disturbing and stunning.”

Lawyers believe that during the judicial investigation it was not proven that Biden Jr. used drugs in the month before purchasing the gun and in the two weeks when he owned the weapon, until his brother’s widow threw the gun in the trash.

A criminal case is being considered against Biden Jr. for weapons violations. According to the indictment, he used drugs, which disqualified him from purchasing a handgun, lied on the questionnaire and purchased the weapon anyway in October 2018, and then owned it while using illegal substances. He faces up to 25 years in prison and a $750,000 fine, although first-time offenders are typically not given prison sentences.

Hunter Biden will also be involved in a tax evasion trial in the state of California. In both cases he maintains his innocence. His case was the first in history when the son of a sitting US president was put on trial. American leader Joe Biden previously said that he would accept any court decision against his son and, in the event of a conviction, would not use his right to pardon him.
