A civil servant was fired for beating his boss with a chain in Japan.

An employee of the Department of Architecture in the Japanese city of Osaka was removed from his post due to the fact that he poured boiling water, beat and tortured his boss with a stun gun.

The employee was responsible for the dismantling and evacuation of abandoned bicycles. It turned out that two years ago he beat his boss in the chest and face, poured boiling water over him, put a stun gun on his body and hit him with a bicycle chain. The boss is now retired. The employee said that he was annoyed by the attitude of the boss to work, but he repented that he used violence.

Osaka City Hall has already stated that such actions by a public servant undermine citizens’ confidence in the authorities.

Suspension from office is the most severe form of punishment for civil servants adopted in Japan.
