Callas discussed Ukraine, Iran and China with Rubio.

The head of the EU diplomacy, Kai Kallas, reported that she discussed with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio by telephone Ukraine, Iran and China.

“We discussed global issues in which the EU and the USA coincide, including the war … in Ukraine, the harmful influence of Iran and the challenges created by China,” Kallas wrote on the social network X.

She also emphasized that she was waiting for a meeting with Rubio in the near future.

Earlier, the official representative of the foreign policy service of the European Union, Anitta Hipper at a briefing in Brussels, said that the new US administration has not yet responded to the invitation of the head of the EU diplomacy of the EU Kallas to hold a joint meeting at the level of the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
