American businessman Elon Musk commented on the departure of the German Ministry of Defense from the social network X, which he owns, saying that the department is moving to those platforms where lies are not disputed.

On Wednesday, the German Ministry of Defense announced that it would stop posting on the social network X of American entrepreneur Elon Musk, citing “difficulties” in the substantive exchange of arguments as the reason. The ministry named WhatsApp and Instagram as alternatives to social network X.

“It (the German Defense Ministry) goes to a place where lies are not disputed,” Musk wrote in a commentary on the relevant news.

Elon Musk previously openly criticized German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on social network X, and also supported the AfD. On January 9, Musk held an online conversation with party co-chair Alice Weidel, during which he openly called on Germans to vote for her party.
