The representative of the Iraqi Shiite movement An-Nujaba (one of the factions of the Islamic Resistance of Iraq), Hussein al-Musawi, said that the activity of armed terrorists in Syria is the work of the United States, designed to ease pressure on Israel and distract the international community.

The Syrian Defense Ministry said on Thursday that the government army entered into battle with terrorists who attacked the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib. Violating the de-escalation agreement, groups belonging to the terrorist organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham attacked villages, settlements and military positions on a wide front in the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib. According to the SAR military department, the army responded to the attack, and as a result, the terrorists suffered losses in manpower and equipment.

“We… understand that… armed terrorist groups, which are a creation of America and… act in accordance with American will, planned to open this front in order to relieve pressure on Israel and distract the international community with even more tension,” – The American magazine Newsweek quotes al-Musawi as saying.

Al-Musawi also noted that the Al-Nujaba movement is ready to intervene in the fight against terrorist groups in Syria to prevent further destabilization of the situation.
