Syria condemned the US transfer of ballistic missiles to Ukraine.

The Syrian authorities condemn the US transfer of ballistic missiles to Ukraine to launch strikes deep into Russian territory, which is pushing the region towards an unprecedented escalation, the Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

“Syria strongly condemns the hostile actions of the United States against Russia by supplying Ukraine with long-range ballistic missiles that allow strikes deep in Russian territory,” the statement said.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry noted that US actions “are pushing the region towards an unprecedented escalation, which is leading the world to a nuclear war, the consequences of which will affect all peoples of the world.”
