The Prime Minister of the Netherlands invited Trump to the NATO summit.

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schof said he has invited US President Donald Trump, who won the election, to the NATO summit to be held in The Hague in June 2025.

The day before, Schof had his first telephone conversation with Trump after his victory in the US elections. The Prime Minister of the Netherlands said that they discussed assistance to Ukraine and NATO.

“I invited him (Trump) personally to the June NATO summit in the Netherlands. And he responded positively, and we agreed that we would talk again soon and that we would meet soon,” Schof told.

The 2025 NATO summit will take place in The Hague from 24-26 June. As the Dutch Foreign Ministry reported, about 45 heads of state and government, 45 ministers of foreign affairs and defense, as well as about 6,000 members of delegations are expected at the summit. In total, approximately 8,500 people will attend the event.
