A tanker carrying chemicals caught fire off the coast of Germany.

A tanker carrying oil and chemicals caught fire in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Germany, the German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked Persons reported on its website.

“A fire occurred on board the 73-meter German tanker Annika,” the organization said.

All seven crew members were evacuated by rescue vessel a little after 10 a.m. local time. Emergency teams began to extinguish the tanker using special equipment and helicopters.
