In Georgia, restarting the dialogue with the United States was called the main task of the ruling party.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that European integration and the reset of relations with the United States and the European Union are the most important priorities of the country’s ruling Georgian Dream party.

On Monday, Kobakhidze, who heads the election headquarters of the ruling party, held a presentation of the Georgian Dream election campaign.

Parliamentary elections will be held in Georgia on October 26.

“The most important national task, I would say, is to reset relations with the US and the EU. We certainly do not like the relations that exist now. On our part, all steps are being taken to reset. We are confident that next year, after the end of war in Ukraine, retaliatory steps will be taken that will ensure a reset of relations with both the United States and the EU. European integration remains our main foreign policy priority. We repeat that by 2030, Georgia will be more ready than any other candidate country for EU membership,” Kobakhidze said at the presentation.

According to him, the priorities of the Georgian Dream are also deepening cooperation with NATO and strategic partnership with China.
