The IDF reported killing more than 400 Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon.

Israeli forces have killed about 440 Lebanese Hezbollah fighters since the start of ground raids in Lebanon, and also destroyed more than 2,000 targets of the movement,  Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Brigadier General Daniel Hagari said.

“Currently, our forces have destroyed more than 2 thousand Hezbollah targets, including military installations, weapons, underground infrastructure… since the beginning of the ground maneuver, our forces have eliminated about 440 terrorists from the ground and from the air, including 30 commanders of various ranks,” – Hagari said at a briefing.

The general also showed a video of a 250-meter Hezbollah underground tunnel discovered in Lebanon, 300 meters from the border with Israel. The tunnel did not cross the border, but allowed the fighters of the movement to get as close as possible and undetected. You can see that this tunnel had all the conditions for a long stay of Hezbollah fighters.

“This is one example of infrastructure that was prepared by militants for terrorist attacks in Israel,” the Israeli military said.

The tunnel was destroyed by Israeli Defense Forces engineering troops.

Since October 1, Israel has been conducting a ground operation against Hezbollah forces in southern Lebanon and continues aerial bombing of the neighboring country, where more than a thousand people have already died, including leaders of the Shiite movement, and more than 90 thousand have become refugees. Despite losses, including in command personnel, Hezbollah is conducting ground battles and does not stop rocket attacks on Israeli territory.

The main goal of the military campaign in Israel is to create conditions for the return of 60 thousand residents of the north who were evacuated due to shelling launched by Hezbollah a year ago in support of the Palestinian Hamas movement.
