Turkish security forces detained an international drug lord.

Zafer Ramadan, who is internationally wanted for drug trafficking, was detained during an operation by Turkish security forces in Mersin, TRT Haber TV channel reported.

“As a result of intelligence conducted by the National Intelligence Organization and teams from the intelligence department of the Mersin Provincial Security Directorate, it was established that the international drug lord Zafer Ramadan is located in Mersin. The address where the international drug lord lived in the Mezitli region was discovered,” the TV channel reported.

“At dawn, an operation was organized to locate the address with the support of special equipment and a drone. During the operation, the drug lord Zafer Ramadan, who was internationally wanted for drug trafficking, was caught,” the TV channel specified.

The detained international drug lord was taken to the Mersin Provincial Security Directorate for interrogation.
