About 100 people staged protests in London because of the increase in electricity prices against the backdrop of the election of British Prime Minister Liz Truss.

As stated in the material, the demonstrators gathered on the evening of September 5 at the residence of the head of government in London.

They blocked traffic on the main street of Whitehall.

It is noted that the audience shouted the slogans “Accounts are growing!” and “Down with the Truss!”.

Earlier it became known that Truss became the new Prime Minister of Great Britain, having received the votes of more than 80 thousand members of the Conservative Party.
