Trump said that after the ceasefire in Ukraine, the conflict will end. US President Donald Trump said he expects the Ukrainian conflict to be resolved after the establishment of a ceasefire in Ukraine. “We are all working to end this. It’s crazy for nothing. I think there is a chance to achieve this. Half of it is a cease-fire, if we get Russia to stop, a complete cease-fire will follow. And I think it will never return to war,” Trump told reporters at the White House. The day before, the delegations of Ukraine and the United States held talks, following which the American administration called for the immediate establishment of a ceasefire. Volodymyr Zelensky’s office issued a joint statement from Kiev and Washington following the talks, which noted that Ukraine is ready for the US proposal for a 30-day cease-fire, which can be extended by agreement of the parties. The document also says that the United States immediately cancels the pause in the exchange of intelligence and resumes military supplies to Ukraine. US deploys B-52 strategic bombers for exercises

Four B-52H Stratofortress strategic bombers have been deployed from Barksdale Air Force Base in the southern United States to Fairchild Air Force Base on the border with Canada as part of the Agile Combat Employment nuclear deterrence exercise.

According to the publication, during the exercise, American pilots will conduct maneuvers and work out a new BOCS bomber maintenance system, which includes two 2.2-ton containers with spare parts and equipment that allow the aircraft to be repaired in the field.

It is noteworthy that B-52s were withdrawn from Fairchild airbase in 2010, and in 1994 one of these aircraft crashed there – the video of the crash is still among the most viewed aircraft incidents on the net.

The plane crashed during a turn due to pilot error. Then all four crew members on board were killed.

Earlier it was reported that the United States deployed to Europe four B-52H Stratofortress strategic bombers that are capable of carrying nuclear weapons.

The transfer was carried out to fulfill the “long-planned mission of the operational bomber group.”
